Another way besides bending the second note of the ousak scale (as explained in my last post) is to also use the diminished 4th degree of the scale (if you are playing in D minor ousak you play  D – E flat – F – G Flat ).  This is the beginning of the diminished scale however many bouzouki players  do this when they are soloing.  Try to experiment with this idea and listen to the distinct sound and style that will be produced.
