IMPORTANT CHANGES AND IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE 2008/2009 ACADEMIC SCHOOL YEAR

This post details upcoming changes and improvements to the school’s policies, payment plans, and session dates beginning Aug 13, 2008.  For your own benefit, you are encouraged to read the full school policies and payment schedule.

Elite Music has a healthy and rapidly expanding student body which necessitates a formalized system to make the school run smoothly. These changes will divert more time and energy toward improving courses, workshops, concerts, community involvement, and customer service. All students are advised to review the policies in detail online at www-.elitemusic.ca.

* Summer Semester will offer various flexible packages for those wishing to take vacations.

Cancellations: The Most Flexible Policies in Toronto

Students may cancel one lesson per 8 week semester as long as 24 hours notice is given. Students are entitled to a make-up lesson anywhere within the same semester (space permitting). If no make-up is arranged, the cost of the lesson will be deducted from next semester’s payment. Some restrictions apply – go to www.elitemusic.ca for full details.

Automated VISA or MC Payments: Quick, Fast, and Painless

In order for the school to offer better customer service and to reduce traffic at the front desk, all students will be required to use autopay to renew their lessons each semester.
For those who do not wish to use autopay, a manual payment must be received on or before each registration due date. For full details on payment methods go to www.elitemusic.ca.

Scholarships and Awards: Giving Back to the Community

In appreciation of the community and in the spirit of nurturing young talent, Elite Music will offer one annual bursary based on financial need and one annual scholarship based on academic merit and playing ability. Application packages are available at the front desk. The deadline for submissions is Sept 31, 2008.
