The Yamaha CPX 900nt (may 2010)

Articles No Comments

A couple weeks ago we received the CPX900nt from Yamaha. Let me tell you, this guitar is a real treat! It plays like a dream; and more importantly it sounds like a dream! When you pick it up to play you can feel the quality instantly, and once you pluck that first note there is no going back. Unplugged it sounds fantastic. It produces a sharp bass tone on the low strings, and nice clear (but not shrill) trebles up high. The real magic of the CPX900 comes when you plug it in to an acoustic amp. I literally could not believe my ears. With a little bit of reverb this baby sparkles.

Key features:

The CPX900 features the newly developed A.R.T. (Acoustic Resonance Transducer) 3-way preamplifier system.  This innovative new preamplifier system utilizes four amazing contact pickups that dramatically reduce feedback while achieving rich, beautiful and natural tones.

The CPX900 has beautiful white/black double abalone sound hole inlays, ivory fingerboard and head stock bindings, ivory/black body binding, maple bottom inlay, mother-of-pearl CPX and Yamaha headstock logos and mother-of-pearl/abalone position markers.

Come down to Elite Music Academy at 822 Danforth Ave. and try it out! For more info give us a call at 416-406-5355 (ext 2 for retail)
