Mandy Ebel (Piano/Vocals/Music Theory/Song-Writing)
Mandy Ebel is a new addition to our Teachers at Elite Music School. Her main forte is her Wide Range of Vocal Styles that she teaches with her artistic precision and confidence. However Mandy also teaches Basic to Medium Level Piano Students. She is also available for Music Theory tutoring, as well as teaching any General Music Concepts. Last but not least, Mandy Ebel is a talented Song-writer, and Producer offering instruction on Song writing, arrangement, and development.
Mandy Ebel completed the Contemporary Music and Technology Program at Selkirk College, in Nelson, BC, Canada. She received both a Vocal Performance Diploma, as well as Music Production and Engineering Diploma. She also took Composition as an elective during the course of her school. Mandy also recently went to India and Studied Indian Classical Music, and Vocal Stylings. She is excited to share some of this with any students who are interested in such a unique, intricate style. Mandy also started playing piano at the age of 5 and has completed 10 years of Classical Piano, from the Royal Conservatory of Music, however does not teach only Classical Piano but many basic styles. Currently Mandy is an active Teacher as well as, Performer, Song-writer, Producer, and Engineer for both her Solo project, and her band, Opal Stone. Mandy often performs her Solo Jazz, Folk, Soul, Pop, Rock Material around town, while Opal Stone is truly a unique Electronica project, created with her Synth Programmer, Co-Producer, Hari. Opal Stone infuses elements of R’n’B, Soul, Drum and Bass, Dub-Step, Jazz, Reggae, Progressive Rock, Hip-Hop, Trip-Hop, and World and Middle Eastern Music into their project. Mandy is a National Award Winning Singer/Songwriter, and received CTV Globals first, “Fred Sherrat Award” in 2008, which recognized only 11 outstanding music graduates in all of Canada, with Mandy being one of them. This award was put together and presented by MusiCan and CARAS ( Canadian Association of Recording Arts and Sciences). Mandy also has won a place in Mike Pinder’s International SONGWARS Contest with her Song,“Kaleidoscope
Teaching Style
The focus is on you! Mandy’ teaches WHAT YOU WANT to learn, emphasizing the importance of proper techniques within all of her classes. . Whether it is casual , just “beginners” singing lessons, or “intense, advanced training,” Mandy loves to put her all into teaching what YOU want to learn. Vocal students learn voice placement, and proper techniques, starting with proper breath support in a clear and understandable way.

Mandy is fluent in performing and teaching diverse styles such as: Jazz, R’n’B, Soul, Rock, Pop, Folk, Ambient, Electronic and Basic Classical Indian Music and Vocal Stylings.
