We are always introducing new and unique specialty courses in addition to our conventional lessons. These courses are designed to inspire all ages alike!
Adult & Youth Jam Sessions
Youth Jam Sessions for ages 10-17 | Adult Jam Sessions from 17 and up. Brush elbows with Toronto’s best musicians who will reveal all the secrets of playing in a band! Play cover songs and write your own original ones. Our professional team of instructors will teach you how to get a band together and make an impact on the stage! At the end of each semester a recording session or a live performance is scheduled. Classes available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Drum Soloing Course (1 & 2)
Learn how to master the secrets of the drum solo. Explore the basic building blocks and how to expand them to create that explosive drum solo that you have been looking for. Eight weeks of intensive study including sticking patterns, groupings and actual transcribed solos.
Greek Bouzouki
Become the bouzouki player you always dreamed of being under the professional instruction of an outstanding musician and teacher, Tasos Isaakidis. Younger or older, beginner or advanced, prepare to take your playing to the next level.
Guitar Group Beginner & Intermediate for Adults
Let’s make music, learn the fundamentals and work on some classics from the Beatles, Bob Marley, Van Morrison, Sheryl Crow…etc. In a comfortable setting, we will make your guitar playing feel fun and very natural! Don’t miss out. With 10 weeks of electrifying fun, make it your chance to shine! At the end of each semester a recording session or a live performance is scheduled.
Vocal Group (R’n’B/Soul/Pop/Jazz/Folk/Country)
Sing your heart out with Elite’s Vocal Group! Find your natural voice and sing in a style you enjoy the most. Bring your friends or make new ones! Beat your stage fright and build self confidence! Learn lead vocals and explore harmonies with National Award Winning Singer/Songwriter Mandy Ebel. At the end of each semester a recording session or a live performance is scheduled.
Intro to Home Recording and Demo Production
Elite Music Academy offers small group classes in home recording and demo production. Taught by Emilio Guim, an accomplished musician and audio engineer, you’ll learn everything from setting up a home studio, to recording and mixing like a pro.
