Vocal Group

Find your natural voice and sing in a style you enjoy the most like R’nB, Soul, Pop, Jazz, or Country. Create your own group with friends or join an existing group and make new ones! Work on lead vocals and explore singing harmonies in small groups of 3 to 5 people.  Practice feeling comfortable singing with others while enjoying a group experience every week for an hour.  At the end of each semester, the Vocal Group gets to experience singing their song in a recording session and a live performance that is scheduled.  There are also several performance opportunities throughout the year that your group may be invited to perform at.

Semester 1: There are 10 one hour weekly sessions plus a 2 hour professional recording session and performance at the Alumnae Theatre or a local club.  Fees: $300.00 per person. Payment may be divided into 2 segments if needed. Weekly classes set to start in early October. Exact day/time to be arranged.

Semester 2: Starting on the week of January 7th 2013 and onwards for 19 consecutive weeks.  There are 17 one- hour voice band practices plus a 2 hour professional recording session.  One of the practices may be substituted with a performance at a local club. An additional second performance is scheduled for the end of the course.  There are no practices scheduled for Sunday April 8th and Sunday May 21st if the regular class falls on Sunday. Fees: $475 per person. Payment may be divided into 2 segments if needed.
